New Yorkers learn fast how to jungle the lifestyle, it is either you experience it the easy or hard way nonetheless you are going to front the reality of the city that never sleep to learn and program your daily routine to the rigor of the apple city lifestyle.

Your best option is the 7 days unlimited card, if you are a professional commuter like moi and have a busy itinerary this 33$ USD spent could stretch to almost save you as much as the double on a week. Think about it, you leave work, meet up with your friend, take something to prepare lunch at Trader Joe’s that is three spots, this plastic is a necessity to have on your purse for mobility.
A Charger for your phone
Way before federal agencies advised to avoid the public charger, mine had a constant place in my bag. Also, people no longer trust nobody asking to use a phone in case yours is off, is a hustle, no one will trust you to be making calls from your portable, therefore having your own solution in case you are taking content and using down your batteries, a charger is a smart and worried free necessity to have in your purse.
A pen + notepad
Technology has people forget how sometimes simple and the old kind of way can take you far, New York City is a pub of opportunities, you never know who can meet or bumped into, you also will be surprise how many people are not comfortable giving out their phone number, or does not use Instagram, therefore if an opportunity comes and you meet the writer, the entrepreneur or the mentor you always wished to meet do not miss to connect and network in the future, have your pen ready to note the address or their assistant number to set up a meeting.
