What I do on my days off

Listen living in New York City is expensive okay! Therefore, I embrace my days off after a long 40 hours week shift to do activities that I enjoy and reflect my passion in life.

I resume my two days off by first relaxing, resting, spending quality time with my husband, making memories, and working on my dream.

I have accumulated a little planner of chores and running errands I must achieve to have the best productive week.

Fashion School

If you have read my previous blog, yours truly is back to school for my creative career and Fashion objectives. I am making a name and cementing my creative talent in this industry, and school is the bridge to connect my talent, passion, and all the knowledge waiting for me to develop and innovate.

Content for my blog

Writing is my therapy; sourcing my content and evolving in this sphere brings me to my roots, and childhood memories of dreaming of becoming a blogger one day; every time I reflect on writing a post, I smile at the beautiful possibilities of realizing my blog journey.

Create arts

I purchased my professional camera a few months back; I take my pictures and edit and direct each of my photoshoots; being in control of my content brings me so much freedom, and I am making my grandfather and great father proud; arts was the pillar of my family for generations, genes run deep and the testament of the fruit not falling far from the tree.

Self-care

I enjoy feeling good in my skin; therefore I have the beauty routine that I adopted for years, nails ready, clean scalp, clear skin, and my green juices within reach. I religiously do my facials, spa treatments, and bodily message.

Rest and relax

Over the years I had to comprehend the importance of mental health. I prioritize behind happy and in a positive environment, on my days off I lounge, read, have enjoyable moments with my other half, talk to family members and try to rest physically and mentally the most I can be.

Cook

I love to cook, and my recipes are finger-licking delicious; my grandmother taught me well; therefore, I sometimes give a trip to little Haiti and get my ingredients and prepare authentic Haitian meals or Dominican super.

Explore and hangs

New York City will always have a place to discover; one of my favorite outings is the Museum, and creative-related events, exhibitions, popups, local businesses, vintage shops, etc

Do you find the time to do what you are passionate about on your days off? Or not. I would love to know to leave your favorite activities down in the comments.

Thank you for reading and sharing!
