We the humans around the same time last year were about to encounter a new era of unprecedented events, no matter your status quo, plan, or project you were going to be affected. The pandemic ripple effects spare no businesses and industries. Fashion and beauty were no exceptions.
THE PRIME OF INFLUENCER’S CREATIVITY
No one understood the crash and challenges we were about to experience; we were told to stop or slow, but against all odds, a community that adapted quickly to the life changes and was determined to prevail. influencers, bloggers, content creators, and artists, worldwide, put in hard work with consistency during the pandemic uncertainty last year.

CONTRIBUTIONS OF INFLUENCERS
Our contribution is part of a larger conversation for sure. One day if not already they will have studies to evaluate the immense skill and artistry we delivered. We need to be valued and considered in the broader sphere of the industry.
We deserve the respect of our content, and the recognition of how we revolutionize the fashion and beauty industry this past 18 months, especially the Black, POC, and LGBTQ+ content creators. We upheld the standard and proved that our talents and voices are the pillars to move forward.

70’s FASHION INFLUENCES
It makes sense the 70’s fashion trend is back on the spring/summer 21. After the Vietnam war, the Cold War, massive inflation parallel to the Pandemic, Social Injustice, and fear, creativity splashes, we are bolder.
Joni Mitchell was “The influencer” of the 70’s fashion, Cher, The Supremes, Diana Ross, Debbie Harry, Farah Fawcett just to name a few.
The style recreation of each of these icons, of course, is palpable, through all our wardrobes and closet. The call off the sweater pants and loafers, I mean this year is only to shine and be the fierce black woman my mother Z birthed me to be.
