While waiting for the Q train at Atlantic Barclay, I overheard a small crowd reflecting on the same feeling I have been lingering about since after COVID-19. Brooklyn is the hub for food and also a since of community in NYC.
The food industry is big in Apple City, with several thousands of Restaurants and cafes one has options and a diversity of cuisines. From Haitian to Greek food, all five boroughs regorgé of delicious spots.
La Duca Pizza Newkirk Plaza Brooklyn
One of the best pie in the city, hands down, run by the entire family, the crust is always on points and the toppings are succulent from the cheese slice to the meat lovers. Great options lunch they have a seating area.
Natural Blend Church Avenue Brooklyn
They have other locations. A spot you can develop an addiction pretty quickly, eating healthy is very important and restaurant that respect the clientele with top notch food.
Empanada Loca 5th avenue Brooklyn
The have so many option of empanada on the menu also have a seating area, one of the best empanada spot in Brooklyn.
Kreyol Flavor Church Avenue Brooklyn
They have several other locations, they have a variety of Haitian dish on the menu, always delicious, also provide a seating area. I am a regular at Kreyol Flavor.
These small businesses for years now have provided the community with delicious and fresh takeout or to stay food. I am regular and I will always continue to support local.
